Want to give but not sure how much? Being able to prepare a home-cooked meal using a recipe like A La Carte's BYTES averages around $4 per person (with a surplus of health benefits). In contrast, Forbes found that it's approximately 5x more costly to order takeout and around 3x more expensive to prepare a meal kit. So a $1-$5 contribution is suggested.
